Then you or your group could be eligible for one of our $500.00 awards/scholarships
INDIVIDUALS:
Scholarships are available for high school juniors and seniors who have participated in the projects of the Waterfront Environmental Committee
TEAMS / GROUPS:
Awards are available for groups of students who have developed and presented their environmental projects to the St. Clair Shores Environmental Committee and funds will be used for materials to create the group's environmental project.
To be considered for the Award or Scholarship applicants should submit the following information within their application:
BOTH INDIVIDUALS and TEAMS/GROUPS:
1) Attach one letter of recommendation on letterhead from one of your current or past teachers or a recognized civic leader.
2) Answer at least 4 out of 6 questions below about Lake St. Clair.
INDIVIDUALS:
1) Briefly tell us something about your interests, current activities, and future goals.
2) List all environmental project, including dates and verification (e.g. thank you letters, if available), that you have been involved with, including at least one project of the St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee.
TEAMS / GROUPS:
1) Briefly tell us about your group, including the names of all of the individual students involved and choose one student as the spokesperson.
2) Explain your ideas for an environmental project in writing with accompanying diagrams, plans and/or photographs, and approximate cost for completing your project. Include how your project will impact the environment.
